Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz married on Saturday evening in an intimate ceremony, their spokesperson told People.

"We're delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends," said the spokesperson.

Simpson, 23, and Wentz, 28, exchanged vows in front of 150 guests at her parents' Los Angeles area home.

The wedding took place in the backyard of Ashlee’s parents, Joe and Tina Simpson, which had been converted into an Alice in Wonderland-themed spectacle. And there was plenty of security to keep unwanted guests out of the tents.

The 25- year- old actress held talks with police in Midhurst yesterday to finalise the arrangements.

One local fumed: "For someone with so much money, it's surprising she wants to use police resources rather than hire her own security team."

The Fast and the Furious beauty, 27, walked down the aisle in a Vera Wang dress at the private nuptials on Nevis Island--50 miles west of Antigua.


Speaking to InStyle Weddings before the ceremony, Brewster said, "We started dating in secret--you know, hanging out in my trailer--because it would have been unprofessional otherwise.

"But every day, Andrew wore these work boots to the set, and if I was lying down in the shot or there was equipment in the way, I'd look for his shoes. It was comfortable just to know he was nearby."

No other details being made public except that Brewster and Form got married Sunday May 6th in a private ceremony on Nevis Island.

Form and Brewster met in 2005 when she was shooting "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning," for which he served as one of its producers. Form popped the question on their one-year anniversary, presenting her with a 3.2-carat emerald-cut diamond platinum ring.

Neve Campbell of "Party of Five" and "Scream" fame marry British actor John Light of the Royal Shakespeare Company at a secret Malibu over the weekend, as reports last week had predicted.

The Canadian actress married to Light "in a small ceremony in Malibu on Saturday May 5th," Campbell's representative tells People.

This is Campbell's second marriage - she wed Canadian actor Jeff Colt in 1995 but split two and a half years later.

Campbell, 33, and Light, 32, met on the set of the 2001 independent movie "Investigating Sex," which they were making together. The two became engaged in February 2006, with Light got down on one knee and recited Shakespeare to Campbell.
