Sandra Bullock Receives Three-Year Restraining Order Against Stalker

Sandra Bullock has been granted a three-year restraining order against the obsessed fan who allegedly tried to kill her husband.

The "Speed" actress was granted the order against fan Marcia Valentine on Friday. And Sandra Bullock can live far from fear now that she's won a restraining against an obsessed fan who allegedly tried to kill her husband Jesse G. James at her California home last month.

The judge said he found "clear and convincing evidence" that Valentine was stalking the actress and extended an existing temporary order to three years. Orange County Superior Court Judge on Friday May 11th issued a three-year restraining order, barring Valentine from contacting or coming within 500 yards of Bullock, Jesse James and / or his three children. The judge also gave the couple permission to record phone calls or videotape Valentine if she violates the order.

Valentine did not attend the hearing and she could not be reached for comment as well. Valentine was arrested in April for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon for driving her Mercedes over Jesse in a confrontation outside Bullock's beach home. She remained free on $25,000 bail pending a May 22nd court hearing.

Jesse James, Sandra Bullock Husband Almost Killed By Stalker

A woman obsessed with Sandra Bullock almost killed her husband, Jesse James, on Sunday morning outside their Southern California home, Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino confirms.

"At around 10:40 a.m. James found the suspect, Marcia Valentine, lying on their driveway," Amormino said. "He told her to leave, but instead she got into her 2004 silver Mercedes and tried to run him over three to four times. ... Valentine tried to kill him."

"Both Jesse James and Sandra Bullock are fine and it is now in the hands of the authorities," Bullock's rep, Cheryl Maisel, tells.

After the attack on James, 38, Valentine fled the scene. However, the following day, just before 10 a.m., an officer recognized her car and arrested her for assault with a deadly weapon. She has since posted $25,000 bail, and is due in court on May 22.

Valentine had stalked Bullock in the past, Amormino said. However, the sheriff's spokesman was unable to confirm whether Valentine had a previous arrest record or whether any restraining orders had been filed against her.
