Ashlee Simpson & Pete Wentz Married

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz married on Saturday evening in an intimate ceremony, their spokesperson told People.

"We're delighted to confirm that Pete Wentz and Ashlee Simpson were married this evening in front of family and close friends," said the spokesperson.

Simpson, 23, and Wentz, 28, exchanged vows in front of 150 guests at her parents' Los Angeles area home.

The wedding took place in the backyard of Ashlee’s parents, Joe and Tina Simpson, which had been converted into an Alice in Wonderland-themed spectacle. And there was plenty of security to keep unwanted guests out of the tents.

Heath Ledger Found Dead

Heath Ledger, Academy Award nominee has died in his bed by his maid, it has been revealed.

The shocked maid, who went into his bedroom after a masseuse arrived for a scheduled appointment, immediately called 911 services and paramedics rushed to the Manhattan apartment.

Once there medics moved his body, which was surrounded by prescription pills, onto the floor where they desperately tried to revive him.


But they were unsuccessful and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

A police official confirmed there were pill bottles strewn around the apartment but at this stage refused to say if the death was accidental or suicidal.

Ledger’s autopsy is due to be performed on Wednesday but last night his family insisted his death was accidental.

He was found dead in his bed in one of his residences in Soho by his housekeeper at 3:35 PM ET today. The 28-year-old actor has a two year old daughter with former fiancee Michelle Williams. He was set to play the Joker in the upcoming Batman film "The Dark Knight."


Ex-fiancee and the mother to his child Michelle Williams is on a plane rushing to NY and is reportedly devastated. She has been on location in Sweden, and it is believed Matilda is with her.

Lindsay Lohan selected as worst film in Razzies awards

Lindsay Lohan was honored with the annual “Worst Actress Award” by the Razzies today. Every year, the Razzie committee gets together and hands out awards to the year’s worst films and performances. This year, Lindsay Lohan’s performance in “I Know Who Killed Me” earned her the top nod.

Razzie founder John Wilson told the Associated Press

"I Know Who Killed Me is the most fabulously brainless movie since Showgirls. By the end of it, you still don't know what happened. Are they twins or aren't they? Did she imagine it? Can I please have my hour and 50 minutes back?"

In fact, Lindsay Lohan earned two nominations for a single role. The movie – in which Lohan plays two characters, a stripper and an abducted small-town girl – led the pack with a total of nine nominations, including one for worst picture of 2007.
