Noel Gallagher and James Blunt join a new charity projectNoel Gallagher and James Blunt are joining forces for a new charity project. Razorlight, Brian May, Paul Weller, Rod Stewart, Bruce Dickinson and Nick Mason together with Art legends such as Sir Peter Blake and Gerald Scarfe also lending their support to the Gibson Guitar Town London campaign.

Gibson Guitar Town London is a community inspired music and arts campaign, to raise money for The Prince’s Trust, Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy and Teenage Cancer Trust charities.

James Blunt said:
"I am really pleased to be associated with this amazing project which aims to raise lots of money for three fantastic and worthy charities."
They are among 30 music acts who will each come up with a design for a 10ft high fibreglass Gibson Les Paul guitar which will be displayed around the capital as public art this summer.

Each musician will be paired with an artist who will hand paint their designs. Legendary pop artist Sir Peter Blake will turn Paul Weller's design into reality, while Osbourne will team up with cartoonist Gerald Scarfe. At the end of the campaign in September, the guitars will be auctioned off to raise money for The Prince's Trust, Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy and the Teenage Cancer Trust.
