Fans of Britney Spears may not see a comeback album anytime soon. Britney's publicist Leslie Sloane told Life & Style magazine the pop queen comeback album delays the release to next year.
Britney's publicist Leslie Sloane told Life & Style magazine in a brief statement: "I put her on hiatus. Brit's album is pushed until '08. If she has no album, there's no reason to do anything. ... Let's go on hiatus until we have a campaign to do."
Meanwhile People reported Britney will be joining Cyndi Lauper and gang on her True Colors tour. People reports that Britney’s choreographer, Misha Gabriel said, "June 30 at L.A.’s Greek Theater, she’s due to join Cyndi Lauper, Erasure, Debbie Harry, The Dresden Dolls, The MisShapes with special guest Jeffree Star and host Margaret Cho live onstage for the "True Colors" concert tour."
In fact she’s been auditioning backup dancers for her special appearance. Those trying out for the spot even got to dance to Brit’s new track. One back up dancer, Sam Pete (25) said, "It was dope. It reminded me of that one song you hear at 1:50 a.m., when they call last call at a club, and it’s the hottest, nastiest song you’ve ever heard in your life and you’ve just got to put your drink down and dance to it. You’ve got no choice. You’re body is insisting on it." Sounds amazing, but then again he could just be kissing up to Brit to get the job.
